Dying is the most spiritually, emotionally, and physically overwhelming experience known to human beings. Our hospice patients have experienced all life offers them, and sadly, it is time for them to leave us.
When hospice patients reach the end of their lives, they have separated what is truly important from what is not.During the process of parting with this life, they leave behind the less important material matters of life. The most important belongings are transported in their souls – they are things that cannot be touched, but are pure and filled with love.
Hospice patients are ordinary people who are burdened with extraordinary circumstances, and they need our help with pain control and comfort at the end of their life.It is the mission of Sanctuary Hospice House to provide compassion to the dying and those they love in response to God’s call that we serve one another.
